Book Your Free Legal Consultation

Get in touch

At Citilawyers, we understand that legal matters can be complex, and reaching out for legal advice is often the first crucial step. Our dedicated team is here to provide the support and guidance you need. Contact us by filling out our online form for a free phone consultation. After we receive your request, we will contact you to schedule an appointment.

This initial consultation is an opportunity for us to understand your situation and outline how we can assist you with comprehensive legal services.*

* The consultation is not a substitute for formal legal advice and does not create a solicitor-client relationship. A formal solicitor-client relationship is only established upon execution of a written costs agreement following a conflict check.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is the consultation really free?

Yes, the initial consultation is entirely free with no obligation to engage us afterwards. We offer it so prospective clients can understand whether their matter is something we can help with before committing to costs.

Is the consultation formal legal advice?

No. The free consultation is an initial assessment, not formal legal advice. We listen to your situation, identify the legal issues involved, and explain general process and options. To provide formal legal advice tailored to your matter, we need to be retained as your lawyers, complete a conflict check, and issue a costs disclosure.

Why don't you offer in-person free consultations?

Phone consultations are more efficient for both you and our solicitors. There’s no travel time, no parking, and you can speak with us from anywhere. If your matter requires an in-person meeting, we’ll arrange one after we are formally engaged.

    What happens after the consultation?

There is no obligation to proceed after the free consultation. However, If your matter is one we can assist with and you decide to proceed, and you would like to proceed, we will send you a costs disclosure and retainer agreement explaining our fees and the scope of work.

Will you tell me whether I'll win my case?

We can’t predict or advise on the outcome of any case during the free consultation. Even with full instructions, we can explain the legal framework, likely process, and the typical considerations that affect matters like yours.

Should I send documents before the phone consultation?

No, please don’t send documents in advance. We are not engaged as your lawyers at the consultation stage and a conflict check has not been completed. After the phone consultation, if you decide to proceed, we’ll arrange a secure way to share documents.

Can the phone consultation happen outside business hours?

We aim to schedule phone consultations during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). If you have an urgent matter outside these hours, please leave a message and we’ll respond as soon as possible.

What types of legal matters do you cover in a free phone consultation?

We offer free initial phone consultations across all our practice areas, including commercial litigation, debt recovery, criminal law, building and construction, property and conveyancing, corporate law, defamation, insolvency, intellectual property, and IT and privacy matters.
